Craig R. Workman
For 30+ years Craig R. Workman, founder and president of The Workman Communications Group, has worked with more than 40 well-known local and national businesses to develop and implement strategic communications programs that produced the desired results. He has extensive experience in the insurance, banking, agriculture, construction, higher education, professional services and non-profit industries.
Crag has led The Workman Company for the past 20 years. He was previously Vice President of the St. Louis offices of two international public relations agencies, Edelman Public Relations and Shandwick, and he began his career as a publications editor at Blue Cross of Missouri. He has created and implemented hundreds of successful public relations and marketing projects.
Craig has led the largest effort to change the way Americans view their food supply, guided Purina Mills on a wide range of corporate and product communications programs for more than 20 years, developed brand refinement and marketing programs for The Business Bank of St. Louis and guided The Doe Run Company through ongoing crises involving public health and environmental issues.
Craig has also helped guide the University of Missouri Alumni Association through three rounds of organizational long range planning over the past ten years. He has been a guest speaker on public relations topics at the Public Relations Society of America-St. Louis chapter and at St. Louis University. Craig currently serves on the board of directors of Project COPE, a leading community re-entry program for violent felons leaving prison. He was formerly a member of the St. Louis advisory board for the Exploring Division – Boy Scouts of America, and is a past Commissioner of the St. Louis Port Authority. Craig is a past president of the Public Relations Society of America – St. Louis Chapter and the Mizzou Alumni Association – St. Louis Chapter.
Craig is a 1978 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.

Jeff Dunlap is head of Jeff Dunlap Communications and a former editor and reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and other major media in Missouri and Florida. Jeff provides editorial, public relations, publicity, event management, marketing support, crisis communications and social media services to professionals, businesses and non-governmental organizations in diverse industry sectors, and for not-for-profit enterprises. He twice won the William Randolph Hearst National Journalism Award for Excellence and twice shared a National Award of Excellence for magazine management, among other honors.
Social Media: Kathleen Rose – Scene Social Media
Kathleen Rose is a social media pioneer who has been deeply involved in social media marketing campaigns since 2008. In 2010, Kathy co-founded and became executive director of www.501Connect.com. This interactive website was created as a St. Louis community resource to build awareness of regional nonprofit entities and cultivate community engagement. Before 2008, Kathy worked as a media buyer/planner for St. Louis-based advertising agencies.
